Earning items online simple?

I recently discovered a website that lets you fill out surveys and they credit your account with points. You take these points and cash them in for rewards, they can range from pretty much anything. I am kind of new with it still figuring it out. Seems little difficult at first. I been doing it almost a week and only have 7points.. Consider a point a dollar is pretty much what it equals out to.
